Some folks consider journaling with fresh paint hard. Imagine sketching and painting this! Things go in unexpected places. Colors may stick, stain, mix and mingle in unexpected ways on journaling paper. “Mistakes” can’t be readily erased.
Art Journaling is like life—full of things we didn’t necessarily plan on AND things we sometimes have to learn to live with and then learn to LOVE!
That is exactly why it's a perfect way for making your art journals and postcards reflecting the moments of our lives:)))
My simple approach for making postcards and journaling is to do my drawing first, then paint it— and once it’s completely dry, go back in with my brush/pen and strengthen/darken any passages or lines that need it.
Anything can and should be part of your art journaling while traveling around the country or while making like a tourist in your hometown.
The main thing to remember
Have JOY in the moment
JOY in awareness that your are here and now--
Life is Good!!
Until Next Time. . .
Author & Artist
From the time as a small girl, I have always admired artwork. My passion is to live for my Lord Jesus Christ, to glorify Him in all that I do. Whether in ministry, the writing and publishing industry, or in the arts, I live to please Him.
